Ang Talisay kay usa ka native nga kahoy na makita lat diri sa Bantayan Island. Ang iya punuan kay taas kag ang iya dahon kay lagpad. Ang kolor sa iya dahon kay himis kag dark green, kung padung na sya laya kay magsagol ang red, yellow kag daw medyo pink. Ang iya bungan kay dagko pa siya sa mantalisay kag makaon ang syud sa iya bunga, daw mani ang lasa.
The Talisay is a native tree that can also be found here on Bantayan Island. Its trunk is tall, and its leaves are broad. The color of its leaves is smooth and dark green; as it matures, the leaves mix with red, yellow, and a hint of pink. Its fruits are larger than those of the mantalisay and can be eaten; the taste is similar to peanuts.
