Ang Binunga nga kahoy may duwa kag klase — Green kag Red-Violet — nga ging tawag diri nga tapoy. Ang Binunga nga Tapoy makita lang sa lugar sang Cebu. Ang iya dahon may kolor nga pagka red-violet, ang iya lawas sama lat sa green nga binunga pero ang iya mga sanga parehas sang kolor sang iya dahoon. Ang buwan nga ini mamuwak kay magsugod sa Marso hangtod mag Abril.
The Binunga tree has two varieties — Green and Red-Violet — and the red-violet type is locally called Tapoy. This variety can only be found in Cebu. Its leaves are reddish-violet in color, and its trunk is similar to the green Binunga, but its branches are the same color as its leaves. It begins to bloom from March to April.
